Jazz Rhapsody: Connye Florence

Don’t miss this southern songbird’s tribute to the legacy of jazz. Jazz Rhapsody immerses the audience in a joyful musical journey through life, love and heritage…all painted in the brilliant colors of jazz. Featuring works by Duke Ellington, Billy Strayhorn, Langston Hughes, Frank Loesser, Wendolyn Bennett and other jazz icons, this show inspires with a unique fusion of classic and original jazz, spoken worked and intimately staged theatre.

Connye Florance had enjoyed 23 years of a professional vocalist and actress, performing across the country. In 2000, BET honored her as “Jazz Vocalist of the Year”.

Tickets are on sale at the PPAC ticket office. $10 adults, $7 high school students, $5 IWU students, $5 children (11yrs and younger).
